A Patented Design
When we designed the Lens Jacket, we wanted to rethink what it means to protect our glasses. As lovely as hard cases are at keeping them safe, the bulky designs always made them a pain to carry around, and we found that we would rarely bring them with us and instead risked them breaking or getting scratched.
We soon realized that we primarily wanted to keep the lenses safe, and after a few iterations, we created the Lens Jacket.
Simple and Versatile
When creating the Lens Jacket, we focused on a simple design that was easy to use but versatile enough for many different scenarios. Whether it’s for your prescription glasses, reading glasses, or sunglasses, we carry around our glasses and use them differently in our day-to-day lives. But regardless of how we use them, one thing remains the same, we want to protect them because they’re not cheap.
Quality Materials
We’ve already sold thousands of the original design, but we wanted to create one with higher quality materials.We hunted for different materials that could make this design feel more premium, playing with natural leathers and various inner linings that we believed could elevate the look and feel of the product.
We chanced on this really fluffy material that you sometimes see on bomber jackets and thought this could be an excellent liner. Combined with a natural high quality sheepskin leather, this combination reminds us of warm and cozy bomber jackets.
So Handy You’ll Want More Than One
We keep them everywhere. We have one in our cars, backpacks, suitcases, jacket pockets, and around the house when we need them handy. They take up very little space and are so easy to slip on that anytime you’re putting your glasses down, you can slip them into their cozy Lens Jacket.
Premium Packaging
We know how hard it is to get a gift for somebody and we think the Lens Jacket could be great for a friend or loved one. That’s why we put extra care into designing premium packaging that is 100% recyclable.
Dimensions
The Lens Jacket will fit most glasses, as long as they are not too curved. If you would like to double check that they will fit your glasses, you can measure the space between the arms to ensure that it is at least 125mm, or 5 inches. The overall dimensions are 5 in. (125mm) x 2.5 in. (65mm) x 0.6 in. (15mm).
